Or begin with Tai Chi each Tuesday, refreshed, rejuvenated and energised. One hour Tai Chi sessions are held every Tuesday morning at 7.30am in Federation Square’s main square.

Calm your mind with a morning stroll through Melbourne’s most beautiful and historic gardens:
Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens - Walk along majestic tree-lined avenues to discover the Model Tudor Village, the Fairies’ Tree, a host of Victorian bandstands and fountains, the famous Cooks’ Cottage and the wonderful floral displays of the Conservatory.
Birrarung Marr and Alexandra Gardens - Stretching along the banks of the Yarra river near Federation Square this walk contrasts the old Victorian-style parkland of Alexandra Gardens with Melbourne’s newest park Birrarung Marr. Take in the rowing sheds, the Riverslide Skate Park and the Federation Bells. This walk provides spectacular views of the river and the city skyline.
Queen Victoria Market
Fresh fruit, hot coffee and hot doughnuts - the Queen Victoria Market will provide a delicious start to your day. Located on the corner of Elizabeth and Victoria streets, the market is open from 6am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Hudsons Coffee outlets are open from 6.30am and have a number of locations around the city.
Grab a coffee at Coffee HQ when you alight at city loop stations. Coffee HQ at Southern Cross and Flinders Street stations is open from 6am and at Parliament Station and Melbourne Central Station from 6.30am.
