Metlink promotion: terms and conditions

1.

Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entries not made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions are ineligible.

2.

To register, place you name, address, telephone number and the answer to the question printed in mX on the back of an expired Metcard and place the Metcard in the competition box at the MetShop, Melbourne Town Hall, corner Swanston and Little Collins Streets, Melbourne.

3.

If the entrant answers the question correctly, they will receive one entry into the random draw and there are no restrictions on the number of times a person may enter.

4.

The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

5.

Promotion commences 3pm EST on 3/09/08. Entries close 5.30pm EST on 10/09/08. Entries received after this time and date will be invalid.

6.

There will be one random manual draw conducted at 4.30pm Level 8, 575 Bourke Street Melbourne on 11/09/08. The first three valid entries drawn will win.

7.

The winners will be notified by telephone.

8.

Prize winners will be asked to collect their prize from Metlink, Level 8, 575 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. If unable to collect their prize, it will be sent to them via registered post.

9.

Entry open to all residents of Victoria who fulfill entry requirements, except employees & their immediate families of the Promoter and all its agencies associated with this Promotion.

10.

The judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

11.

Prizes are as specified and not transferable/exchangeable/redeemable for cash or alternative items. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for variation in prize values.

12.

If a winner is under 18 yrs, the prize will be awarded to their parent/guardian.

13.

Entrant's personal information will be collected to enable the Promoter to administer this Promotion and contact the winners. The winning entrants name will be displayed on the promoter’s website. Upon completion of the promotion, all entrants' personal information will be securely destroyed and will not used for any other purpose.

14.

The winners accept their prize at their own risk. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees, agents and companies providing prizes for the Promotion will not be liable for any liability/loss/damage/expense/death/personal injury suffered or incurred or any dispute (including, but not limited to, direct/indirect/consequential loss) arising out of, or in connection with, this Promotion, the provision of prizes, or the promotion of this competition.
