A new fare structure on the Mildura Transit System will start on 4 August 2008.
The new structure means most fares will be consistent with those in other major regional centres.
New tickets will replace the old single tickets, providing unlimited travel on all Mildura Transit bus services over the specified period.
The new structure will also remove the old Zone 1 and Zone 2 arrangements, with the entire Mildura Transit network covered by a single zone.
New ticket machines are being introduced to help improve the efficiency of services.
The introduction of revised fare structures throughout regional Victoria means fare prices and types are consistent across the state and simple to understand.
