Metcard
While Melbourne moves to a new ticketing system called myki, the number of Metcard sales outlets will gradually decrease and some of the Metcards that you used to buy and some of the places you used to buy them from will change.
You can still validate your Metcards on trains, trams and buses, but it's a good idea to use up any Metcards you may have and avoid buying large quantities of Metcards.
View myki for information about how to get your myki, including details on special introductory offers.
Continue checking this website for the latest ticketing information.
